Overview
The terms "we", "us", "TNAME" or "our" shall refer to DomainName Route Inc. The terms "you", "your", "user", "client", "reseller" or "customer" shall refer to any individual or entity who accepts this Agreement, has access to your account or uses the Services. The term "Party" also herein refers to each of TNAME and you, collectively known as the "Parties". Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to confer any third-party rights or benefits.
Introduction
This Policy describes TNAME's general principles for the
collection and use of information of Users at TNAME's Websites.
This Privacy Policy is based on applicable privacy laws. TNAME
shall only use Users' personal data in the manner set out in this
Policy. TNAME takes reasonable precautions to avoid loss, misuse,
unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration or destruction of
the data provided.
By visiting any of the TNAME
websites, Users hereby consent to the provisions set forth in this
Privacy Policy. TNAME encourages each User to read this Policy to
understand their rights.
Data collected and processed
Log files
When a User visits a TNAME Website, a TNAME Webserver collects
basic User information that includes the domain of their ISP, the
IP address, the browser type and version, the operating system of
the computer/device, the access date/time, and the TNAME Website
URLs that the user visited. The data collected does not personally
identify the User except to prevent fraud or abuse of the system.
TNAME only uses Log files for its own statistical analysis,
to diagnose problems with its server and to administer its site
and products. TNAME reserves the right, to review the log files of
any User suspected of using a TNAME website illegally and/or
contrary to TNAME's Policies.
Collected Data
When a User signs up for TNAME’s offered services, they provide
TNAME with their contact information. Contact information
typically includes the User's name, address, telephone number and
E-Mail address. Furthermore, the User agrees to TNAME's Policies,
including the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. By submitting
the data, the User constitutes consent to the use of the
information for the purposes stated in this Policy.
As part of the payment processes, Users also provide TNAME
with payment information that will only be used for payment and
billing purposes.
Communication
When a User contacts with TNAME via email or by other means of electronic communications, TNAME may retain the content or information provided by the User in order to support and respond to inquiries and/or to improve TNAME's services, content, products and Internet brand.
Minors' Privacy
TNAME does not offer or allow use of its products or services to any individual under the age of 18 ("Minor"). Minors to be customers of TNAME must have permission from a parent or guardian by having their parent or guardian accept the Agreements on behalf of the Minor. If a User is under 18 years of age, TNAME stro ngly encourages the Minor to use TNAME Websites only with the involvement of a parent or a guardian.
Cookies
TNAME uses cookies to enable its systems to detect a User's device and to provide features to them. Users must read the Cookie Policy (Re: Cookie Policy) for more information on how cookies are used to save the preference of a User.
Use of personal information/data
TNAME does not trade, rent or sell the personal information of any
User to third parties or organisations.
Browsing information collected from all Visitors is used to
diagnose problems and make improvements to our website and
services.
Customer information is used to create and maintain accounts as
well as contacting Customers in case of any problems with
accounts, provide technical support, conduct surveys and other
similar activities.
TNAME partners with a variety of trusted companies to provide
services such as SSL certificates, design and marketing services,
etc. In order to expedite and provision such services we must
share various levels of Customer information with these partners.
Domain name registrant data is required by ICANN (Internet
Corporation for Assigned Names & Numbers) policy and
applicable law, to be complete and correct. This information is
published in a publicly searchable database (WHOIS). Certain TLDs
(Top Level Domains) allow the utilization of a Privacy Service to
obscure personal information while still complying with applicable
laws.
Exceptions
We reserve the right to, without explicit permission, provide
personally identifiable information in the following
circumstances:
We believe in good faith that it is necessary to comply with
subpoenas, court orders and other legal process as required or
permitted by law.
To report, prevent or assist in the investigation of suspected
fraud or other illegal activities or take actions associated with
such activities.
To enforce the TNAME Terms of Services, establish, exercise or
defend our legal rights or as otherwise provided in the User
Agreement, AUP or this Privacy Policy.
Mailings – upon becoming a customer:
You agree to receive notifications regarding your account
including, but not limited to, renewal/expiry notifications and
billing notifications. Some of these notices can be turned off
from within your account. Please note that these notifications are
the only notices you will receive from TNAME concerning important
activity in your account including, but not limited to,
renewal/expiry notifications. Please disable these notices at your
own risk.
You are automatically subscribed to any and all promotional emails
and newsletters. You may choose to unsubscribe from these
notifications by following the instructions and/or opt-out links
provided in the mailings themselves.
